When we lose a loved one it feels like the most awful time to be arranging a gathering of people - we often feel very alone in our loss. As a celebrant, I hope to alleviate stress by carefully crafting a memorial that is sensitive, thoughtful and most of all celebratory of your loved one.
Our lives are amazing, each one of us achieving so much - and all so different - this time is to remember and cherish all of the person we have lost. I can assure you that I will take utmost care in presenting a professional and yet personal ceremony for you and your loved one.
I will meet with you and together we will carefully create a ceremony incorporating all that was dear to your loved one. I can guide you, or listen to you regarding readings, poetry and music.
You my wish the service to contain spiritual, ritual or religious elements too- and this can be crafted into your loved one's unique ceremony.
We will plan in eulogies and readings from family and friends that you may wish to incorporate. I hope my ceremonies catch the personality and quirks of your loved one, and perhaps may even bring a smile to the faces of those saying goodbye. I hope to bring some light to your darkest of days.
I believe that as a celebrant officiating an end of life ceremony or a later memorial is the greatest privilege, and as a member of the FPC you can feel assured that I will carry out your service to the highest standards, whilst also ensuring that the needs of you and your family are fully met.
